I am your mediator, here and ready, willing to help you to solve your dispute.
I am Nuria Esther Lopez, owner of Nesther Mediation LLC at your service.
I am one of the few mediators in Colorado that can assist you in both, English and Spanish, your bilingual mediator. I mediate cases in and out of the courthouse. I do it being confident that I possess the qualifications and skills necessary to help you to achieve a good outcome of your conflict; for you and the other party or parties involved in it.
I was born and raised in an Air Force Officer's family in the south of Spain. I went to college and studied Chemistry and Material Science. I was part of the Analytical Chemistry Department until I moved to Colorado in 2000. Later, I pursued my Paralegal certificate. I also acquired my Advance Paralegal certificate (again the top of the class) in the areas of Family Law, Estate Planning; Probate, Wills, and Trusts, Alternative Dispute Resolution; Negotiation, Mediation, and Arbitration, Intellectual Property Law and Patent Law, Water Law, and Immigration Law. Months passed, and while working as a paralegal (and following my sister's steps) I became a mediator, your bilingual mediator.
Currently, I am a court mediator with Jefferson County Mediation Services where I mediate Civil cases including Family ones: Child Support and Parenting Plans (Pre and Post-decree). I truly believe in giving back to the community. In September 2015, I had the pleasure, the satisfaction, and the honor of being awarded the 'New Mediator of the Year' in Jefferson County, in Colorado. A sweet surprise that I took as they said about me "as always, with a smile on my face."
My university courses, life experience, and professional work experience make me a round person with an open mind and multicultural knowledge. I take pride in my job. My Jefferson County Mediator of the Year Award is proof of it.
I will bring all this to your mediation, a court-ordered or not.
" In this life you have to be
the solution, not the problem."
